ClareC
I went on a hen weekend a few years back and the organiser had arranged for us all to go to a club in Bristol on the Saturday night. We had "VIP" passes so could access the segregated part. I popped into the loos and shortly afterwards had someone (plus friends) hammering on the door - there were only a few cubicles and they were intent on getting in one asap. I came out to see a girl lurch towards the corner of the room vomitting (pleasant) only to realise the girl banging on the door was Charlotte Church! ????
A "scummer" is a 'fan' of your biggest rivals (pompey/southampton).....but Ratty misuses it, Millwall fans are the proper 'scummers' Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3854-funny-celebrity-encountersstories/page/3/#findComment-121938 Share on other sites

Oh well, all makes sense now. John Barnes does seem nice enough, just a smooth ladies man. BJL
Thanks for the "scummer" explanation. I didn't realise it was all down to sports. VeryBerryCherry
It's not funny nor is he really that much of a celebrity anymore (not actually sure he even was in the first place). But I served Ricardo from 'The Salon' yesterday in Balham. He couldn't decide if he wanted his steak medium or rare... :-SApparently he's a regular... But I was more excited about the lady who comes in on Tues for cheap Steak Night with her pet rabbit... on a lead! Moos
George Clooney cried like a baby when I dumped him. Suppose it's not all that funny, though. ratty
Not really a celeb thing but I once went out for a drink with Mary McCartney having no idea that she was Paul's daughter. Never followed that one up either despite having rather a smashing time! Gutted!
