EmED
I was hoping to book a massage or maybe a mani/pedi locally and have never tried either of these places - has anyone tried both and can recommend one as being better? Also wondered if anyone has tried the salon in Dulwich Village - Lesley Leale-Green?Any reviews of either place would be much appreciated as I couldn't find much online.Thank you! :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/38845-treatments-dr-boo-vs-mrs-feelgood-vs-lesley-leale-green/ Share on other sites
kittenheels
If you can get over to Honor Oak Park, I can highly recommend Neroli which is on the main parade near the station. It offers manis, pedis, massages, facials - all the usual stuff - and it specialises in organics products which smell incredible. Lovely relaxed atmosphere too. I sound like I'm on commission don't I? I'm not, I promise! Just a regular and happy to sing their praises. katgod
depends what you are after - for mani/pedi my money would be on a proper nail bar - Glamourous Nails (NEAR STATION) or 999 nAILS (gOOSE gREEN). LLG, Dr Boo, Mrs Feelgood not really properly geared up for mani pedi in my view, more a massage/facial type place. LLG does very technical facials and is pretty cutting edge in what it does, Mrs Feelgood I have found the treatment rooms to be a bit damp smelling and not really relaxing although they have recently been refurbed, LLG is chintzy and very professional. Glamourous and 999 are nail specialists with big pedi chairs that massage you, loads of colours and the chance to people watch whereas at the otehrs listed it is you and the therapist in a small room Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/38845-treatments-dr-boo-vs-mrs-feelgood-vs-lesley-leale-green/#findComment-699348 Share on other sites
EmED
Thanks very much for the help. Im a bit far from Honor Oak but I'll give Glamourous and LLG a try - thanks!! wellington
I know that this wasn't one of your options but I love Therapy on Melbourne Grove. I've never had a facial (they do nails too) but the hot stone massage is the best massage I have ever had. Their hours are also very good as well. Hagrid
Hi last year I bought a gift card for the wife at Lesley in Dul Village. She turned up 8 months later to book a treatment and was told they were only valid for 6 months. Nothing on the card - wasn't massively impressed to say the least. Elisa_J
To Hagrid - you have a valid claim against them for not notifying you about all terms & conditions of the "deal" (unless, of course, they did notify - on their website or, e.g. on a piece of paper near the till, etc.).Whether you want to waste your energy on this is a completely different matter! :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/38845-treatments-dr-boo-vs-mrs-feelgood-vs-lesley-leale-green/#findComment-699598 Share on other sites

monica
Neroli are great, I always have a pedicure, and I leave floating. Try the tropical, its a classic pedi, with a foot massage and Scrub. TheShelleys
I have to vouch for Shanie above. She is so lovely and has done some of the best manis I have ever had. No, I'm not on commission either!
