We'll be in the "modern" side of the pub, with the patio area (hopefully it'll be a nice evening so we can step out).

Crystal will be the one talking nonsense and dribbling (;-)). I'm the incredibly cool looking one B) ..... :-S

Mockers and Ant will be the ones that blind you with flash bulbs!!! (6)

Only joking, just look for a group and eavesdrop >:D< ....... I may well be at the bar.... :)-D

I myself shall be coming straight from the building site up at Dog Kennel Hill, so I shall have my working boots on, a hard hat, a white soiled t-shirt and some nasty old overalls. You will spot me because of the hard skin on my hands and my hairy shoulders tufting though my shirt. The life of a bricky is not easy guys, so don't be too scathing. Yes I am retired, but this is cash in hand and the state pension is not what it was.

D-M would you like to borrow a copy of Razzle to read in the chemical privvie - I have a number since I gave up? :)

You could use it to decorate your builders shed in which you drink tea with condensed milk and eat door step bacon sarnies.

I can't come along to play tonight, but next time hopefully. I've never been to one of the forum 'get-to-gethers' before....what happens. I walk in annouce MadWorld74 is in da house and then saunter over to the table of pipe smoking, cider drinking, builder looking people?

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
