It's like the dead parrot sketch now, Siouxiesue please see post two above yours where the punch line was ruined ....by me...

It can only be countered with something so truly bad that it will end up in a cracker, something like " two drunks walk into a bar 'BOOM BOOM'. "

And there's always-what do you call a dead eyeless deer with it's throat cut?

Still bloody no eye deer!

A small boy and a priest are seated outside the psychiatrists office

To pass the time, the priest asks the small boy why he is there

"I like to pull the wings of birds, stick poo in people's hair and kick small animals like they are rugby balls" says the boy

"I see" said the priest, "you definitely do need some serious help"

The boy looks at the priest and asks him why he is there

The priest replies " well you see I have this invisible imaginary friend who gives me instructions on how to lead my life..."

    • Another recommendation for Jason who is brilliant all-round. He plastered our rooms and hallways (some walls were blown and needed re-boarding), replaced two ceilings and over-boarded one. From the start he was always communicative, happy to pop by to assess first, and transparent about the various options and their associated costs. He worked thoroughly, going above and beyond to make sure every job was finished to a high standard and is very fairly priced, particularly considering the hours he puts in. We’re so pleased with the results of our flat and have already recommended him unreservedly to others. Also helps that he is just a sound guy who’s really easy to chat to!
    • Well let’s put it this way - certainly alot more alert when I am in town than I use to be . Don’t feel unsafe just a lot more cautious and aware of my surroundings.  Tend to avoid walking anywhere in town as in London or Dulwich etc when it gets dark. Personal choice and certainly more people muttering or talking to themselves than before. Witnessed road rage years ago on Ladbrook Grove in broad daylight - memory still haunts me!!
    • Toad rage? Crikey, what have you done to upset the amphibians? How do you find the frogs? 😃
    • How long is a piece of string?  Depends whether you are building 'new towns' or brown field urban sites. I expect developers, planners and builders know far more than we do.  Where are you getting your information about infrastructure from ?  Your comment on new reservoirs seems more relevant to population expansion and/or climate change.
