Huge recommendation! Super nice guy, knows everything! Fixed the problem real quick. We were faffing about with when and who could be there with keys to let him in. Steve was very helpful and it all got sorted out. Anyone with an appliance in need of help call Steve! - 07921 777428 - http://www.londonspindoctor.com/
Excellent service from Steve, mending our ageing washing machine - he really knows his stuff! Excellent local expert who has sorted various fridge, dishwasher and washing machine emergencies for us over the past few years. His call out fee is good value and IMO it's always worth trying him to see if he can fix your appliance before shell out mega bucks for a new one. Highly recommended!

Another vote for Steve from Spin Doctor.

He's just mended our washing machine that wouldn't spin. He fixed it very quickly and reasonably by replacing the brushes and wasn't phased by the dogs barking at him! Excellent service and great guy to boot. Many thanks.

I'd highly recommend Steve - really quick and efficient service.

My machine was beyond repair the first time he came out, so he said he'd come back and install the new one. As it happened he also had to detach the old machine, which the John Lewis delivery team had refused to do...

A big thanks to Steve for helping me out with a washing machine emergency. Knew exactly what was wrong over the phone. Went out off his way to squeeze me in. Got Steve off this forum..... So thank you forum and thank you Steve....very happy
Steve is an important contact in my phone - came round to fix my Hoover washing machine a few days ago - he's always quick to fit you in when he can sense it's a crisis and has always managed to fix whatever problem I've had....Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I am also very, very happy to recommend Steve, The Spin Doctor.

After a phone call, he was with me within 10 mins.

He was able to identify the problem with the oven immediately and fixed it quickly and efficiently.

Great guy, his number is 07921 777428.

Seem to be following the trend here but all the praise really is deserved.

I cant recommend Steve enough. I gave him a call this morning and he arrived on time this afternoon and was super efficient fixing both my dishwasher and washing machine. No fuss. No hassle - I was hugely impressed with his professionalism as well as being a genuinely nice guy.

Excellent.

The Spin Doctor has helped us out twice now - once when our own washing machine broke down and once when the dishwasher in our rental property wasn't working. Both times great service, fixed the problem and reasonable price. Definitely would recommended :-)

Had a faulty Bosch oven due to a broken fan. We were going to replace the fan itself (?100+) but called Steve around as he's worked wonders for us with other appliances and he immediately diagnosed the problem was with the original element and that the fan itself was fine. He replaced it there and then at a very reasonable cost. So good to have such good people working in the Dulwich area - very highly recommended!

    • We've got a Victorian coal hole cellar with a mud floor and after a couple of severe water leaks, I've taken more of an interest in the state of the dampness.  I've been running a dehumidifier for the past couple of weeks following a small water pipe leak and whilst most of the floor is now bone dry, there are damp patches along most of the wall adjoining the next house, a large damp patch in the middle of the floor that will not dry even with the dehumidifier right next to it and a patch of wet mud in a small hollow in the middle of the cellar.  An expert that lent us industrial drying equipment following a flood from a burst mains pipe said there will always be damp, but I'm a bit concerned in case there is a fundamental problem - any ideas from anyone with similar?

    • Hi there,  Looking for 10-12 jars (to start with) of local honey to fill a small section of a deli space in my work canteen. Please get in touch if you know of any community projects/small scale productions Cheers
    • Yeah, it did work out in the end, but it was way more stressful and expensive than it needed to be. He lost money. He had higher offers early on, but those buyers pulled out because of all the delays. On top of that, he spent a fortune on legal fees trying to get the neighbour to sign off on the freehold transfer. It dragged on for ages. In the end, he was lucky the final buyer stuck with it, but the price was lower, and the whole thing left a bad taste. A lesson learned. Share of freehold can be a real nightmare if the other owners aren’t cooperative. You’ve got to be 100 per cent sure everyone’s reasonable, otherwise it’s just not worth the hassle.
