Simply googling will reveal at least 3 dependable sources that confirm it's to be a Franco Manca by mid-late summer. Jeez.. going to Brixton was such a pain.

Franco Manca...per me manca qualcosa! Like the concept but was left unimpressed by their pizza. It was dry and lacked topping. Fingers crossed their East Dulwich branch is better.

Yep, in terms of timescales they tweeted that... "Planning is in to change internal layout + 4 weeks ? - then builders + 8 wks"

The whole point about their Neapolitan pizzas is that you don't drown them in toppings - their sourdough base is deliriously tasty so it doesn't need it. Go see Dominos or Pizza Hut if that's your cup of tea but I'm hoping it'll be identical to Brixton.

Best pizza I've had in some time - this is the Brixon branch mind. Not heard such good things about the Westfield one.

You see, I tried that.. just because I was blown away by the concept and I was foolishly taken in by Dominos. I must say, they're absolutely vile!

I've eaten at their Chiswick and Tottenham Court Road restaurants and thought they were both excellent.

Chiswick and the original Brixton shop are ace. Not sure about the one at Westfield.

Sodo in HOP/Brockley is good too.
