I suppose it depends what sort of fence you are going for, a cheap panel type is the same both sides but the vertical slat type has the horizontal supports between the posts....but if you are paying, you get to choose what side you see!

P.s. I just had mine done by a guy in Beckenham, very happy with it, pm if you want the details

You have to have the nice bit of fencing facing outwards if it's for a fence between your land and the public highway. If it's in the back garden you can do what you like. But, before you hastily choose the nice side for yourself, think about what you may want to attach to the fence. If you want to put trellis up, to grow climbing plants on, it's often better to have the not so good side as it's easier to attach trellis to the horizontal timbers - if you've got the vertical slat variety - or wires to the vertical posts if you have standard panels.

    • It's not incredibly difficult to understand that people vote Reform because they don't want the Tories back and they don't like Labour and they don't like the state the country is in. It hardly makes them "criminally negligent" - in fact, Sepiroth,  you can just stop insulting people just because you don't like what they have to say - it doesn't really add to your credibility. While Sep says "What the country needs is a serious, mature electorate", what the country REALLY needs is a party that we can trust - and that we do not have.  There is no point at all in having a serious and mature electorate if we don't have a serious and mature party to get vote for.
    • mine's the same - use shears, then mow, but I only do a part of the lawn - the rest is covered in daisies, violets and other flowers, so I leave it. I have to be very careful though - we have slow worms
    • I'm watching a neighbours lawn where the grass is hourly increasing in height .Wondering how on earth they are going to tackle cutting it .
    • Oh I had my hair blow dried within the £72. I assumed the stand alone price was if you were just going in for a blow dry for an event or something but maybe I’m wrong. And they dried my hair curly which was a relief as normally hairdressers insist on drying it straight with a bit of volume and I hate that!
