A while ago when I was having a load of jabs done my GP gave me a prescription and then I collected the vaccines and kept them in my fridge at home and then took them with me for my appointments. Apparently they did not use enough of the vaccine to justify buying in as the rabies jab was ?95 a phial! Is that what they meant do you think?

Andyng - Only last week I went to my doctors surgery for jabs for going to Thailand. I received Hep A amongst 3 others, all free of charge and did not have to buy them from a pharmacy or anything beforehand. The only challenge as ever of late with Melbourne Grove is actually speaking to someone to get an appointment booked in

    • These neighbours dislike trees period. They refused to have lost trees replaced by the Estate on our communal green. They don’t like the leaf and seed droppings. These make the grass look ‘messy’. Similarly, they don’t like my policy of leaving the tree leaves where they lie on the grass verge - hence chopping the overhanging branches. It’s like living in the 1950s. My neighbours have three gardeners with leaf blowers who come twice weekly to remove every leaf from their front lawns. Their grass is cut weekly and all the  cuttings put in multiple brown bins. It’s an outdated mindset of the moneyed classes in my view. But sadly, I’m very much in the minority.
