Have bets on outsiders Chile and Columbia. They are my new teams post England debacle. Apparently they could play each other, not a bad thing.

I've predicted Belgium to be in the final simply because I chose them from the start & put a bet on them to win.

It was based on the fact that they have a lot of top class players. I admit they haven't been that great. I expected Lukaku to score a few times, but he's been terrible.

Sticking by them though because they appear to be late starters in their matches so far, saving all the good stuff for the last ten minutes. If they get their act together early on, it may just come together for them.

As for France, they've impressed me in both their games more than any other team so far.

I think Einstein said it best - "Making Lampard Captain in Gerrard's place is the definition of insanity..."

But it's okay - after listening to his (Hodgson's) bleating about the hurt he felt and how raw Gerrard was and hoping senior players would 'help the young along' in the future I'm sure Lampard and Stevie will entertain us at international level for some time yet if he has his way.

im not in the uk, hence my problem.

I've whacked RTE player, and it seems to be pretty good quality, although they clearly can't afford a second pundit team as just doing slow mo replays set to music during break, which is actually quite nice.

He definitely did. He needs to be banned from the rest of this World Cup plus another 20 matches and I'm sorry Otta but that should include Liverpool. On top of that he should get a hefty fine and a muzzle.

This obviously didn't work last time out so muzzle the nutter.
