While calling England's exit a 'humiliation', Lineker criticised Gerrard's 'individual' attitude and his lack or organisational skills.

He said: 'Steven Gerrard, wonderful player that he is, has always been an individual in many ways

'He's not really a player that can organise or spot problems. He didn't spot the danger on England's left side in the first game, which was pretty obvious after a few attempts.

I've predicted Belgium to be in the final simply because I chose them from the start & put a bet on them to win.

It was based on the fact that they have a lot of top class players. I admit they haven't been that great. I expected Lukaku to score a few times, but he's been terrible.

Sticking by them though because they appear to be late starters in their matches so far, saving all the good stuff for the last ten minutes. If they get their act together early on, it may just come together for them.

As for France, they've impressed me in both their games more than any other team so far.

I think Einstein said it best - "Making Lampard Captain in Gerrard's place is the definition of insanity..."

But it's okay - after listening to his (Hodgson's) bleating about the hurt he felt and how raw Gerrard was and hoping senior players would 'help the young along' in the future I'm sure Lampard and Stevie will entertain us at international level for some time yet if he has his way.

hurrah - roll on the Euros.

The non starters Maxxi. The ones who should have done, but didn't.

try wiziwig.

or the watch espn app on the ipad - although not sure if it will work in the UK?

He definitely did. He needs to be banned from the rest of this World Cup plus another 20 matches and I'm sorry Otta but that should include Liverpool. On top of that he should get a hefty fine and a muzzle.

This obviously didn't work last time out so muzzle the nutter.

    • Hi Merry Christmas no joy with that Paul Hackett email thanks
    • Miss Robson is the last of the old school independent vets. All the chains are have seriously hiked their prices over the last few years which now makes pet ownership only possible for the wealthy few. Even with pet insurance -( which often excludes items or has ‘deductibles’ ) it is just so much money. A visit with some medication is often £150 - £200. The vets themselves are excellent.
    • Awful. A Google search came up with this, but will he check his office email over Christmas? Maybe worth also contacting local councillor?
