yeknomyeknom
Hi,I don't drive, so walk my boy to dulwich park, peckham rye or goose green park most mornings. I tried the park opposite horniman yesterday which was a nice change. Are there any other parks nearby that people go to? prm
Sunray gardens opposite St Faith's church in North Dulwich is really nice - good playground and a small lake with ducksAnd Brockwell Park is only a little bit further afield but worth it for the beautiful park & views and the amazing playground, sandpits, all sorts of wooden structures and swings etc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/45002-nearby-playgrounds/#findComment-751699 Share on other sites

bluesuperted
Love Myatts (any bus to Camberwell area), Blythe Hill (no water play, views, play, sand, 185 bus), Sydenham Wells (363, water play, play, lots of grass), Ladywell Fields (484 or 185, playgrounds, caf?s, jetties/streams, Hilly Fields (484??). Now also working out buses to Kelsey Park and Croydon Rd Rec as we live in Forest Hill. Crystal Palace is great and accessible by overground and step free at FH and CP.Variety is the spice of playground life!! j-mo
There is also Sydenham woods which is great if your children are walking. You can get in from a path opposite that boarded up pub on lordship lane just before the horniman. Think the path is called cox's walk...? david_carnell
The woods are great as a "nature's playground" but I'd start the walk at the top and walk down to Cox's walk since otherwise, for little legs, the whole things is uphill.
