Hi New To Dulwich, I see you are looking for July, Southwark LA primaries break up in the last week of July this year, on Wednesday 23rd July, so activities at schools etc won't start until the 24th or on the following Monday, the 28th. Most holiday schemes tend to operate during August rather than July. If you are looking for ones that start earlier than this you will be limited to ones at private schools. As well as the sporty ones you've found there are also the Lewisham Community Sports one, usually starting mid-July at St Dunstan's (Stillness ones will start later, like Southwark Community Schools) and I think these offer art as well as sport. http://www.lewishamcommunitysports.com/

I'm not sure that any holiday clubs start before 4 (or often 5). If there are then I'd love details as my 3 yo is desperate to join in some of his big sister's exciting holiday activities but I haven't seen any yet. As well as the ones mentioned above there's southwark gymnastics which is great (but not for under 4s!) http://www.southwarkgymnastics.co.uk I think they are planning to have a holiday club but details aren't on the website yet.

Gumboots After School Club run a 4 week holiday scheme at the East Dulwich Community Centre in Darrell Road. Please contact [email protected]

If your child attends the Goodrich After School run by Gumboots - please ask a staff member for details. Same applies if your child attends the Gumboots at the Community Centre.

Children do not have to attend the After School Club to join the summer scheme which is open for 5 - 11 year olds.

For more details put Gumboots Holiday in Search and you will see all the other posts for the past year

Hi, thanks for the link Lorraine! We've actually got two weeks of Nimble Arts holiday club activities this year (28th July - 1st August and 18th August - 22nd August) plus two creative '3 day musical' courses for slightly older children (5-7th August and 26th - 28th August). Places still available, but would advise booking soon

Look in the 'what's on' section for more details,

    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!
    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!

    • "You have no idea why"   To be fair Sue, it's blindingly obvious to anyone who has a conversation with anyone who isn't a Corbyn supporter. And even some who liked Corbyn (like me initially) found him somewhat flaky even at his most popular But let's say you are right and I have NO idea why anybody might not vote for him. They still didn't vote for him. He lost two elections. The second one badly (and strongly predicted but the stubborn old goat wouldn't budge so we we were stuck with Johnson and another 3 million PMs in the 5 years that followed) So even with ZERO evidence, we have our eyes and ears and brains But we do have evidence   https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/27022-their-own-words-why-voters-abandoned-labour
