I have it on good authority that an invisible force field was erected around 'The Village' to protect Gails from the looters who were after their carrot cake. Luckily this important local treasure was saved for the masses who save up for weeks to indulge in such delicious treats once in a blue moon, savouring every crumb and feasting on the memory of every morsel rather than gorging on inferior goods more often in joyless consumerism.

Except Gail's wasn't there then.

Well, that's that theory kicked into touch.

The carrot cake is good though. I'm about to take out a second mortgage to get another one soon.

I suppose, drawing positives. On the assumption that this is a pseudonym for a person who is still in the developmental stage for literacy skills. We should praise their willingness to put their fledgling skills in the public domain; like a small child playing its first public piano recital.

    • It should be easy enough to point out to anyone even thinking of voting reform that should they take power they will have no impact. And will make things worse.  And if people think politicians break promises now and reform are a breath of fresh air then they ain’t seen nothing yet  but they won’t really care about immigration if reform do win  uk used to be about law and order and now we have dim talking heads everywhere unchallenged going “leave the ECHR, stuff the judges, just do it!!”   like life is that simple sweeties
    • I have been reliably informed that it's not the same group.
    • my bet is it's the same group and no amount of talking to is going to make a difference.
    • Definitely not intended  to come across as "gleeful". Quite the opposite, because developments such as this will only encourage extreme right-wingers such as Reform. And heaven help us if they ever formed a government. It's incumbent on Labour to come up with an effective  policy to "smash the gangs" otherwise we are facing Farage and his gang further down the road.
