Zebedee Tring
Funny that the new barbers haven't taken over the Roche premises as that place had been kitted out as a barbers/hairdressers for yonks. Nigello
The price list is up and it's very similar to other places nearby: dry cut, ?12. That is a bit more (?1.50) than the place I like (next door but one to Mrs Robinson) and I was hoping the new place at the Plough would be a bit cheaper than places much further down the lane. Perhaps it's going after the more affluent Village-side lot. Hopefully it'll open soon and be an asset to this part of SE22. Bic Basher
?12 is what I used to pay at Roche. Dulwich Barbers is ?10.50.Incidentally, Mem's Barbers, who already have other barbers in Hither Green and Penge are the company taking on the lease.http://www.memsbarbers.com/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47072-barbers-to-open-opposite-the-plough/#findComment-774502 Share on other sites
nashoi
?12 is the price for a wannabe regency dandy's haircut, not a bloke's. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/47072-barbers-to-open-opposite-the-plough/#findComment-774515 Share on other sites
Louisa
?12? That's ridiculous for a barbers haircut. I know of decent salons who do men's hair to a high standard for just a little more. A barber should charge no more than ?6 for a haircut. The care, love and attention you get in a proper salon cannot be replicated by a barber. I always insist Mr Louisa goes to my regular salon. Nothing worse than a badly blended graded cut, shudders. Louisa.
