Recommendation for Patio

Hi, yes, another recommendation for Patryk. He did a great job on our fencing, new shed, artificial grass, stone steps and patio. Really nice guy, works crazily hard and we felt he was very reasonable in his pricing and very accommodating to our sometimes last minute changes to the job. Also really appreciated how tidy he was - always leaving everything neat, clean and tidy at the end of each day, even down to washing his coffee cup. Most of all, we're really pleased with the finished product!

I would also like to recommend Patryk who initially did a great job for us in our garden and has subsequently done other small jobs around the house. His attention to detail is terrific and his prices are really reasonable. He also, has great ideas and is very creative.

Just wanted to add to this thread. I found Patryk via the ED Forum to do some fairly significant repairs and alternations to our patio (replacing tiles, resetting the entire area, re-pointing etc) - I have to say he was really excellent. Super polite and respectful of your property, terrifically high standard and quality of work, and a real sense he cares and wants to do the job perfectly. Mid-job we also had some high winds so he even repaired the fencing and trellis. Patryks email is [email protected]

We also found Patryk on here.

He came round to price up a small garden makeover job back in November and said he'd send email some quotes. Haven't heard from him at all.

Maybe the job was too small (the recommendations on here seem to be for quite major jobs), but an email would have been nice, especially as he actually came to our place to price up.

We have just had Patryk do our patio round the back of the house.

Would highly recommend him for the job. Patryk was very professional and hard working.

He got the job done in a short space of time and was very reasonable. The quality of his workmanship is next to none.

We are really happy with the final outcome and looking forward to spending the summer days outside on our new patio.

Just had Patryk working on my back garden, removing an old timber deck for a nice mint sandstone patio.

He was always polite and hard working, clean and accommodating with any small changes I requested after. Got the job done on time and at a reasonable price.

Definitely calling him again.

I've just had Patryk transform my rear garden & build new fencing. When he came to quote for the job I found him extremely professional & efficient. He gave good honest advice. I had railway sleepers fitted with raised plant beds. He was a pleasure to deal with & nothing seemed too much trouble, hard working & had pride in what he does. I would recommend him in a heart beat to anyone who needs garden work. He seems to be a busy guy so book ahead. I had to wait for 6 weeks before he could start but it was well worth the wait.

I also wanted to recommend Patryk. He's just completed some work for us which included: replacing our patio and retaining crumbling brick wall along with some general garden improvement works. He was fantastic, a really hard worker, extremely professional, reliable and flexible to our changing plans. He's got a really good eye for the aesthetic detail and the garden looks fab!

Happy if anyone wants to take a look at the work before going ahead.

We found Patryk on the East Dulwich Forum, and like his other reviews we were delighted with his work. Patryk's work is exemplary and he worked extremely hard and to the timeframe and quote he provided. Patryk was able to advise us what work was required, what would work best in our garden and provide us with a choice of designs (of paving and trellis/fence) to pick from. Despite our garden being "landlocked" he overcame this and was very tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and when we had to make a change he was more than accommodating. We would highly recommend Patryk to anyone.

hello fellow each dulwich peeps

A very strong recommendation for Patryk. Patryk has just finished my front patio as well as, building a trellis and a new bin cupboard. He has done the most fantastic job, efficient, professional and superb quality. Nothing was too much trouble. He went beyond my initial requirements which evolved once he had started the job and was very responsive. He even jet washed my decking in the back garden unprompted while waiting for paint to dry, making my day when I got home as have been meaning to get that done for months!

Am more than happy for anyone to come and see his work and give a reference.

Patryk will certainly be my first point of call for any future similar work.

Would also like to add my recommendation for Patryk. He has laid a new patio with drainage, built a retaining wall for our lawn and replaced a fence panel. He has done a fantastic job and has great attention to detail. He was very tidy, and as others have mentioned is extremely helpful and professional.

Absolutely brilliant service.

And here's yet another recommendation for Patryk. What a worker! A few weeks ago he came so speedily to inspect some damaged fence panels. He then returned really quickly and worked tirelessly to erect some new ones. The result was great. Patryk was very helpful and professional throughout, and totally reliable.

More recommendations for Patryk

Other than repeating what's above, all of which I agree with, I'd like to add that what made Patryk great to use was his skills and expertise. Faced with a clear ask from me, he was able to tactfully tell me that a proper job would need a different approach. He was absolutely spot on. He could have done the job Id asked for and for as much money, but now I have the right job done which will last much longer. Im grateful to him for his hard work and for sharing his expertise.

I cant recommend him highly enough.

Another massive recommendation for Patryk.

I was let down at late notice on a job clearing a garden area and laying new decking which I needed doing urgently to complete a house sale. Got Patryk's details from the Forum and he was first class - very professional, always available and extremely competitive pricing. Finished the whole job inside a week to the highest standard. Echo all the positives above.

AMNOTHER RECOMMENDATION FOR Patryk

Following other recommendations we asked Patryk to clear a patch of our garden and lay a petio, he also relaid a paved area which had been badly put down. He and his crew have done an excellent job and we are more than happy with the result. Should we need anything done again we would definitely call Patryk.

PATRYK IS BRILLIANT! Could not more highly recommend him. Worked alone, with impeccable politeness and tidiness from beginning to end of the job. He laid a perfect patio for us, built raised beds, cleared and dug and prepped soil, all absolutely fantastic. Great communication throughout. Lovely bloke. And he's a cat lover, too, so you know he's good.

    • I've used just about all the locally available supermarkets for deliveries over the years, and I now  use Waitrose for deliveries, for various reasons. They have a good range of the things I eat, their food is good quality and their "essentials" range is generally good value (except the tissues, which suddenly became so thin as to disintegrate immediately. I was mainly buying them for the nice plain boxes, so now I just put other tissues into the old Waitrose boxes 🤣) It is very rare for something I've ordered to not be available on the day. Their delivery drivers  are genuinely friendly and helpful. Their customer service is very good. On the rare occasions I've had issues, they have refunded me without quibbling. They often have special deals on some of the things I buy often, so I stock up when they are cheaper. I do occasionally compare prices with other supermarkets, and overall I really don't think Waitrose is more expensive, but obviously they might be for things I don't personally buy. I absolutely hate Sainsbury's, would use Lidl for some things but they don't deliver, Iceland has a very small range of things I eat, and I can't remember why I don't use Tesco or Asda any more. I recently checked out Ocado because there was some offer which seemed good value, but they just didn't have enough things I wanted to buy to make it worth using the offer. M&S don't deliver ( to the best of my knowledge) but in any case they seem to be still badly suffering from the recent hack into their system. Apologies, I have just remembered this thread is about shopping at actual physical stores, but probably many of the issues are the same.
    • Since I am of a certain vintage now, not sure if what I am going to suggest is even still around but here goes… use to be able to buy “dummy/mock papers on line and also had mini synopsis of Shakespeare plays specifically covering students wanting to gain a better understanding of play before taking mocks/ exams. Only know this as many many moons ago, struggled with English Literature and Language and this was the avenue-my parents went down. Also was at this point in my life, educated abroad as part of my fathers job.
    • Love your comment about “shoehorned” - put a smile on my face..! As for comment about “Little Waitrose” ummmm - never really thought about it. Personally, could not care less. But guess Sainsbury Local and Tesco Express are to you more acceptable.. Ultimately, when I think about it, I actually don’t care what they call themselves - been lured by partially branding and partially convenience and what they offer in groceries.
