andyhcfc
The prices they charge for average fare, it would be nice little haul for the robber! Lizziedjango
I think that last point is very unnecessary. If indeed the Blue Mountain did have an armed robbery I feel very sorry for the people who work there. I would be traumatised and terrified if I was the victim of an armed robbery. And anyway, the prices are not THAT high compared to some ED establishments I could mention. I hope everyone who works there is OK. Jeremy
Yeah... some of us may not be a fan of the place, but no need for snide remarks. These things often ruin people's lives (no exaggeration). Lizziedjango
Exactly ChavWivaLawDegree. And Peckham Rose, why do you want to know how long I have been contributing to this forum? All I have done is express my disgust that anyone would take the P*** out of a local business being the victim of an alleged armed robbery. LibraCarr
Hi,I find it really strange that anyone got away from the cafe, as the mosaic is really a danger, the ambulance was probably for the robber, who now may sue for loss of earnings, harm and the owner not having a duty of care to robbers.Regards,Libra Carr. ChavWivaLawDegree
I think everyone should take a deep breath - and I have to admit I thought the jokes were funny, despite the fact the robbery probably wasn't. Administrator Administrator Posted December 18, 2008 Administrator Share Posted December 18, 2008 Please stay on topic and not make it personal. Please also remember that a robbery on a local business is not a pleasant thing especially for those involved. We have previously been asked to remove posts about shops that have been attacked (by the shops themselves) as they found the "jokey" messages distasteful. We agreed with them and removed the posts. pearcesa
I was in here yesterday for lunch and am saddened to hear the staff were the victims of a vicious armed robbery, I have always enjoyed my tea and cake and lunch with friends in this place and don't think it's very appropriate for people to make light of such a serious incident, which clearly will have traumatised the staff. Eileen
I called to eat at Blue Mounatian just after the incident. The ambulance was just taking the staff member to hospital who had been atacked. It was all shocking and horrible.
