Anyone as fanny, talented and witty as HonaloochieB deserves to have the reward of "self praise":-$

I'm not saying you and all the other contributors aren't some or, indeed, all of the above but I do, particularly, look forward to his posts...:)

Keep it to yourself Keef but I wrote "funy" and went to Edit it, then thought "Ey Oop!" lets bring him down a tad:-$

Keef, Moos kindly stay on topic please.

Any more of this loving someone other than myself and I will have no choice but to take the matter up with admin.

I don't wish to introduce a sour note, and like Ringo Starr I say it with love and peace.

Tony Tony Tony I can't tell you how much it saddens me to see the content of your post.

Ey Oop? What the hell's all that about?

Oh Moos, I'm heartsick at the thought that it seems I was a mere plaything.

A 'crush'? 'Defect when everyone got one'?

'It's nothing personal'? That's what they told Tessio when he got 'whacked' in The Godfather.

Did it soothe the 'whacking'? No. Because he still got 'whacked' And it hurt. Yes, hurt Moos.

I wish you both well, though Keef I'd counsel caution before embarking on any 'Badlands' style enterprises.

Thanks Moos a hobnob at that. Good to have you back, let's not speak of 'Keefgate' ever again.

To be honest HB I think it's very bad form of MtH to do the Thursday night when so many hardcore fans have already booked flights to get them there for the Friday. I doubt very much whether ticket buyers for the Thursday night will be fresh meat - much more likely to be fans, like yourself, already booked up for the Friday and Saturday. They might as well have done a season ticket!

Do you have a strategy for tomorrow morning? Ticketbastard did the pre so not much use going to them as they'll have sold all their goodies? Are you a good multi-tasker (as good as a man can be that is)? Will be going from one site to the other?

Hi Giggi, what you're saying is the same as a lot of long time fans, but I gather there was a fair number who didn't manage to get tickets for the first two dates.

I think some people will be highly pissed off if on the back of this the band decide to do a tour on the basis of the success of these three gigs. People are travelling from all over Europe the US and Canada to be here so I guess they'd be feling somewhat cheated if that happened. Ian has got his own record ready for release and he is not especially keen on touring - playing live yes - touring not so much.

Anyway I got a ticket for the 1st, the stalls had all gone in the presale but I got an aisle seat in the rear circle, not great but heck I'll be there.

HUGS

Oh Hoochie I cannot bear you being in the rear of the circle. Would you be able to offload your tickets onto someone on one of the MtH forums if I could get you better seats? If all three dates are sold out could you offload your tickets onto someone who missed out maybe?

What they should have done (and hindsight is always 20/20) is put the Thursday and Saturday nights on first of all and THEN added the Friday. Like a sandwich.

I think that sometimes a band might announce a one off and then the rehearsals start and they get all excited and bingo - before you know it they're booked into everywhere between here and Eastbourne (or LA). Whatever. I do think this one sucks though - because of all the people who made travel plans.

Initially Kells my heart leapt in my bosom when I saw you had posted on here.

And when I read your post I was thrilled that you'd seen sense and had decided to be all in love with me and everything.

But then I pondered for a while.

On reflection your offer of help to Giggirl wasn't, as I first thought a suggestion that you combine your affections, but rather an implication that Giggi might need some assistance as regards her mental health.

A terrible slur on Giggi's competency, and one which if I were her legal counsel I'd suggest she take into the court arena.

On seeing your request for wellies my first thought was that you were volunteering to construct a Benny Hill style Garden Of Love in my honour, as in his song In My Garden Of Love.

But I realised then it was a reference to Giggi's comment about trampling on she and the other Bandwagon Chick's expressions of sentiment towards me.

Kells Kells Kells. I'm more saddened than angered, and am assuming you've had another bad day and are blindly lashing out in a fit of pique.

A quick declaration of love and we'll draw a line under the matter.

I can't say fairer than that.

    • @CPR Dave He needs to communicate collectively with all of the beneficiaries.  That is the whole point of my original post.  Electronic communications are the best way of doing this, as I am doing now on this forum.  Apart from the gold digger who will get a six figure sum the rest of us are on four figures, and that is going down by the day. I'm offended by any suggestion that we are not behaving well.  What on earth do you mean?
    • Surprise, surprise. It didn't take them long, did it. This will be something of a test as to how much the council really care about parks and the environment. A footfall of 60,000. Are they mad? There is no way this park is designed for or can sustain that sort of use. Just had a look at the schedule. If allowed to go ahead, this will involve a large slice of the park (not the common) sectioned off and out of use for three weeks of May and the first week of June. Here's an idea, why not trial the festival in one of the other Southwark Parks, so the 'goodness' can be shared around the borough?
    • There was another unprovoked attack on Monday this week on a young woman nearby (Anstey Road) at 6.45pm. Don't have any other details, it was posted on a Facebook group by her flatmate. Pretty worrying  https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1EGfDrCAST/
    • OMFG is it possible for the council to do anything without a bunch of armchair experts moaning about it? The library refurb is great news, as it's lovely but completely shagged out - the toilets don't even work reliably. Other libraries in the area will be open longer house during the closure. July is a rubbish time to begin a refurb because it's just before the entire construction sector goes on summer holiday, and it would mean delaying the work another 8 months.
