The prize is an evening of exquisite lovemaking with Mr B. You haven't tasted pleasure until you've known the love of a Honey Bee.

No stay TQ, the harem is always looking to recruit new members.

The 'Dude' section lost two loyal members after the great warning off earlier in the year of TLS and BBW.

Membership plummeted and a society such as this stands or falls by its members being of good standing.

Go on TQ be a member, you know you want to.

Mr.Quinn, did you write the book or just read it? Should we be on the lookout for headlines like 'novelist caught stealing apples in East Dulwich' or not?

I did write it during my first job in mid 90s, while i was meant to be doing something else. I can show you it was a penetrating endictment of a collapsing Tory government. But forgot to save it on disk when I departed. Half expect someone to be living off my triumphant work. I'm not a novelist but I am a man of letters!

It's OK Giggi I'm allowing TQ a little leeway for the time being to sweeten him up a little.

Give it a couple of days and he'll be 'on message'.

As we say 'Give me a gadgie before 5 o'clock and he'll be declaring undying love by the time the One Show's on'

    • Is Dell Autos closing down completely or just moving? For whatever it's worth, for MOTs I've had good recent experience with The Test Centre in Deptford. They only do MOTs so they don't have any particular incentive to fail you and they usually have same day appointments. Open 7 days a week and late. https://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/our-test-centres/deptford-branch/ Obviously you would still need a "normal" garage to do servicing and repairs etc.
    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
    • The accompaniment to our "Christmas Pudding" aka Nothing-Whatever-Like-A- Christmas-Pudding last year  at The Cherry Tree was "brandy butter ice-cream." If it had ever been near any brandy, the brandy must have been waved in its direction from a very great distance. Same with butter. The ice cream tasted like bog standard "vanilla" from a catering tub. At least it did bear some resemblance to ice cream. Whereas the "Christmas Pudding" bore no resemblance whatever to any Christmas Pudding I have ever seen or tasted in my many  decades of seeing and tasting Christmas Puddings. Oh, and Cinzano Bianco. Bleurgh. My sister used to drink that. 🤢
