Hello,

these play groups might be a bit to far but here goes West Norwood Thursday 10am at the Salvation army price 2 pound

- Storytime and Parent and Toddler Group Clapham Library, Mary Seacole Centre, 91 Clapham High Street, SW4 7DB

A nice 40 mins of singing songs with time to hang around and chat to other parents afterward cost free

Cheeky cs play group east dulwich cost 4 pound

Pecham rye 1 oclock club price free

My son and I used to go to a Messy Play arts and crafts group in Forest a Hill on Thursdays at 10am. It was by far his (and my!) favourite class of the week. Basically, they get to make things, paint, play with play dough, create things, draw and generally have lots of messy fun! Massively recommend it.

No! That's so sad - it really was a fantastic class - by far the best group we went to. I wonder why it stopped?

Dulwich library do storytime from 10-12pm every Thursday and I also think there is another session in the afternoon around 3pm. They have lots of toys to play with, obviously lots of books to read! Also have a big table with different craft things to make each week and a 20 minute story time and singing at the end. Its all free too!

    • Precisely this. It was alarming when Zac Goldsmith tried to exploit ethnic tensions as part of his London mayoral bid (he specifically targeted Hindu, Tamil and Sikh communities saying their jewellery was at risk from a Sadiq Khan wealth tax) but to my mind the Greens have practised this on a far more significant scale in Gorton and Denton. I don't know who Democracy Volunteers are, but reports of an uptick in family voting is also of concern.
    • Bumping this to see if anyone has any more up to date info eg Vauxhall City Farm have paused their DofE programme.
    • Sorry to be dim. How are the Greens "peddling sectarianism"? I have googled a definition and I can see how this might apply to Reform 🤬 but I can't see how it applies to the Greens?
    • There  is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class  with a wide range of ages.    The  teacher is Fi and she is amazing and  the classes are lots of fun.   look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes  (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs  at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge  which is a day of dance to include  just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website  ( look at the events section) .
