Doctor Recommendation

Hi, I've jsut moved to ED and looking for a new doctor. Most of the other threads on this are a bit out of date. Any positive views?

I would still highly recommend 306 medical centre (see this thread: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1337204,1337283#msg-1337283). They are so much more helpful, sensible and cooperative than any other surgery I've joined before!

Forest hill rd group practice is brilliant. No complaints at all and can always see a doc or nurse the same dsy if needed.

Another one for 306 Medical Centre. No problems since I joined in August 2013, this despite an influx from the former Dr Sarma surgery at Dulwich Hospital.

I've heard nice things about the surgery in The Gardens from my old housemates. I am at DMC Crystal Palace Road... steer clear.

Where you live and what the catchment is will be an issue, the DMC surgeries and Melbourne Grove both have had a very bad press here (and quite recently). I am one of those with good experiences of the Forest Hill Road Group practice, where I have been for 25+ years, but I know they have had issues in the past about appointments.

If you are in the catchment area Herne Hill Group Practice is really good
