Ronaldo basically started getting a bit huffy when it wasn't going his way. He also got very greedy a couple of times, which led him in to dead ends. Fergie was screaming at him from the touch lines.

Good as he is (and he is very good), he doesn't react well when it's not going his way IMO.

Ok, Keef, so what would you do in Fergie's position? Sell him straight away because he didn't pass the ball? I'm not sure what you want me to say. He could react by kicking lumps out of people like Joey Barton or disappearing from the game like Nicolas Anelka. Is it worse that he stuck his lip out a bit and tried to score on his own? I mean, give us break....

FA Cup Final tomorrow and I'm in two minds as to who I want to win. Hiddink to bow out with a trophy but having Drogba running around on a lap of disgrace like a spoilt brat, or David Moyes reminding the world from an open top bus that even though they can't fill Goodison Park they're actually the 'Peoples club'..

I think I'm going to cheer (very quietly) for Chelsea... maybe

Keef, footballers are human like the rest of us, warts and all, and yes Ronaldo can be a tw@t (is that what you wanted to hear?), there are even a few on this thread. I don't expect people to come on here praising Utd, but all we ever seem to get is cheap pops, it's easy to blank the juvenile delinquents amongst us, but I expect better from you.

To counter all this negativity, I'd like to say what a model professional Ryan Giggs has been, 11 English league titles, a feat unlikely to be equalled let alone bettered by anyone else, a credit to himself and his club, who took defeat on Wednesday with great dignity, a living legend!..I'm off with my rose tinted spectacles to enjoy the sun :)-D

got to be Everton for me just because they are the underdogs. Matt, isn't that whole 'people's club' thing just the same as people saying that people from Manchester only support City? It's a way that a less successful club in a city can try and gain some dignity?

Show me where I've had a pop at United (i can promise you that you both, SP especially, have had more pops at other teams than I have about anyone!)? Couldn't agree more about Giggs, and just think Ronaldo would earn a lot more respect if he behaved a bit more like that.

Victim complex or what!

Aaaanyway, hoping for a good game tomorrow. Not a huge fan of either team, but would be pleased to see either manager walk away with a trophy.

    • Hey Huggers, please can you share the fabulous chiropodist's details?  Huggers, I think podiatrists are the same as chiropodists, pretty much. Also, why aren't you sticking with the chiropractor, out of interest, if they seem to think the problem is more posture-related, rather than solely (sorry) down to the feet?
    • Thankyou! Originally I had a private referral ( husband had health insurance at time) and so worn insoles for years but I still wear my shoes down in one place at a ridiculous rate! A fab chiropodist agrees with posture is everything stance. Experienced cobbler says some it ain’t right and I’m over corrected.
    • I've booked a session with Elmcourt Clinic in West Norwood, recommended by our daughter. A two-week wait for the slot, though.  https://www.elmcourtclinic.co.uk/
    • I don't know everyone else's foot problems are, but I have classic and apparently quite bad deformity - bunions, pain etc. I went to the Woodware Rd practice a few years ago and got orthotics for the not inconsiderable price of £600.  The team there seems very nice but, now that I am experiencing a new type of foot pain, I'm wondering if I've been doing it all wrong these years with supportive trainers and insoles. I'm beginning to realise (seems obvious now) that, if I want to cure my foot pain, maybe I need to change the way I walk, and my posture etc. And also, maybe I need to try barefoot shoes, to build muscle where there's been no need prior, because shoes have been doing all the supporting.  I've been educating myself with Helen Hall and Lawrence van Lingen and addressing my gait seems like a more organic way to solve the problem. Podiatrists will convince you that orthotics and / or surgery are the only way to go, but look up reddit forums and you'll find countless people saying they 'cured' their bunions with barefoot walking / shoes / and exercises.
