Yes bring on the big fish from a small pond, because we will roll you over and send you on your way. Favourites to get knocked out I assume is what you mean.Let's face Celtic are a waste of space in the champs league, as I said before you won it around the last time Spuds won the title. Nobody takes the SPL teams seriously.

You're not an Arsenal fan, you're somebody who says they are but doesn't want to stand up and be counted when comedians like Mac give it large. You be better off supporting Man Ure with all the other plastics.

Keep wishing Jock boy, cos that's all it will ever be , a wish. Scots fans are good for a laugh, a bit like the SPL.

Like I said before you've obvioulsy missed your vocation as a comedian but you obvioulsy have a sense of humour as you support Celtic and everbody knows they're good for a laugh.

Do you also remember the last time Spuds won the league?

Last time Celtic played in the Champions League qualifier with a new manager was 4 years ago... and they got battered 5-0 by the Slovakian champions. The regular competition in the SPL makes it doubtful they'll even be in the hat to draw Arsenal.

Personally I'd rather Celtic and Arsenal didn't qualify for the Champions League group stages as it's lost a lot of the gloss in recent years being overloaded with British teams, especially in the quarters and semi finals.

With the makeup of the Arsenal squad I'd say it's more likely to implode with recriminations - and if anything I'd say they'd sink rather than swim.

I fully expect City to be knocking on at least the top 4 this season. They've done a lot of business so far (Barry, Santa Cruz, Tevez, Adebayor) and I expect they'll ramp it up further during August with strong additions to rest of team. If they sign John Terry then they will be a real threat not so much because of his football but because he is a winner and that will rub off on their team ethics.

Those sort of signings, en mass unlike the token Robinho signing last year, have got to give you confidence as a team. It's debatable whether Hughes can handle them I suppose as we see most seasons from the Chlesea experiment it's not always about the players on the pitch but the strength of the manager too. The owner doesn't seem to want to meddle as much as Roman does though so who knows.

    • I can't answer your question. But on them generally: it's changed hands in the last year or so, I think. I paid £35 for interior and exterior and they did a crap job. I'll go to the one on Herne Hill (or just do it myself if health allows) next time.
    • Aria came round to fix my tub drain when I'd messed up the seal. Came within hours, fixed the tub, and ran a bath to make sure it was okay. Here's where the fun starts. While he was over, I asked him questions about the rest of the plumbing round the house. I had just moved into a Victorian home that was previously being rented. Unsurprisingly, we found another leak in the tub and a drip in the kitchen tap.  He came back the next day to put a better pipe in my bathtub and replace the kitchen sink. Painstakingly figured out how to replace the hard-to-access kitchen sink without cutting through the wood panel with the help of his builder friend, Mark. Answered all my questions and clearly knew his stuff. All this right before Christmas holidays!
