You know what Red Devil, and I'm not the first one to mention it, you seem to resort to personal insults when ever you don't like the point being made - there seems to be a strong correlation between you having a weak argument and using foul and abusive language. I've made a mild criticism of United - whereas I've criticised Liverpool most of the last week - and you respond with offensive material. If you look back at my posts, and most other ppls for that matter, I have never verbally assualted any formurites but you seem to think you can get away with it without censure. I'd usually let this pass under the bridge but a response was needed on this occasion.

And when offered a spread bet to back up your prediction Matt, you scarpered.

"In eight home games against English sides Celtic have lost only one - 2-1 to Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest in 1983 - while they are unbeaten in their last five. That run includes wins against Manchester United and Blackburn and draws against United, and Liverpool twice.

It's hard to call this one. Celtic have an excellent record at home in the Champions League but if Arsenal turn up and play to their best, they will more than likely walk away from the east end of Glasgow with victory.

The likes of AC Milan when they were European champions, Lyon, Juventus and of course Manchester United have all been beaten at Celtic Park in recent seasons"

Shame you're not going to repeat the feat though, especially against The Arsenal.

Oh I'll enjoy, especially when the home crowd goes deathly silent after we score. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha, touche!

Mick has gone about this all very sportingly, Atila, you'd best hope Arsenal win, as otherwise you need to take your hat off to Celtic, and eat a bit of humble pie mate.

Oh and Matt, that is the most rubbish bet I've ever heard, I wouldn't take that in any match. Any team can always score against another team in the first half hour.

Following Sunday's defeat at Spurs, Rafa could be in trouble with the FA after his post match press conference when he "had theatrically taken a glasses case out of his inside pocket, taken out the glasses and looked through them before putting them away again."

Apparently this gesture, no doubt following on from crossing his arms in front of Big Sam, has been interpreted as an insult to the Ref for not awarding Liverpool two late penalties.

Forum Announcement:

Atila and I have decided to have a trial period apart and not to discuss confrontational issues in front of other people on the forum (like tonights game for example).

I just thought I should let you all know.

Celtic were unlucky with the goals, and were quite competitive. It certainly never looked like the walk over I predicted. It's probably too much for Celtic to come back now but maybe with better team selection for 2nd leg they can still cause problems at the Emirates.

Well, where do I begin?? I think I'll start with the word of Pat Nevin from 5 live broad cast last night

"I fear for Celtic at the Emirates", or Alan Green (useless Manc loving knob, Northrten Irish but thinks he's English coont) "Arsenal are looking comfortable and this tie is as good as over",

Shall I go on Micky boy?

    • https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
