Continuing their form of the second half of last season (only Hull were worse during this period). All fell apart with the signing of Agent Heskey. Plenty of bad puns lined up about Vienna....

Maybe but Pool are so skint they can't afford to give a bag of chips away never mind scarves.

The Eduardo HOOOO HAAA has reminded me of a couple of things that have occurred in the not too dim and distant past, which raised far less anger and bluster and should have done. Firstly, the lady boy that is Ronaldo was was perhaps the greatest exponent of the dive seen in the prem since it's inception, yet all that was ever levelled at him was "he needs to get that out of his game",and no more was made of it. Secondly a fat scouser "once a blue always a blue" shrek look a like famously went down as if he had been shot by a sniper when Sol Campbell did so much as look at him, and AGAIN VERY LITTLE WAS SAID. The fact that it was during our unbeaten run and was the only way the despised Mancs could beat us was despicable. And as for a certain Mr Gerrard, during the last CMPL campaign he famously went down when the defender so much as breathed on him!!!!! The UEFA thing with Eduard helps to show how inconsistent the powers that be are in such matters. Will they be charging all the above and many, many others, with the deceiving the ref, of cousre they fcuking won't. Bunch of useless two faced c**nts. OK Ban Eduard, we'll still beat all comers.

Probably nicked from the club shop.

All those banners are made by dedicated fans. We don't the need the club to provide us with plastic flags or scraves to create a colourful or noisy atmosphere.

A lad I know was going to make one for the Chelsea game in the CL last season.

"I DIDN'T FIND THIS UNDER MY SEAT" ;-) Not sure if it ever was made.

Like I said probably nicked from the club shop. The only thing you'd find under your seat at Anfield is an empty handbag somebody has chucked away because they're trying to dispose of the evidence.

    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
    • The Dutch are addicted to New Year fireworks and spent €130million this year on them. However,  sales to individuals will be banned as from this year and celebrations will be organised by local and city councils. I have Dutch friends and for them, this can’t come soon enough. However, at least there it’s concentrated  on one night. Here, it’s never ending, any excuse to make a noise is seized upon with gusto. In addition to the annual celebrations, add birthdays, weddings, engagements, divorces, christenings, BBQs, etc etc. I dare say you can funerals to that list as well. Yesterday it started mid-afternoon and just carried on until the early hours. In the past, I’ve been woken up at 4am. Anyyone who doesn’t like it can go hang and you can ignore completely the  effects on people’s animals and wildlife. Don’t hold your breath about anything being done here, however.
