I'd pick between two if that's OK Steve? First, some British grit - the classic Landrover:

It's the ultimate do anything, go anywhere vehicle. It went, and still goes, to war. It farms, it carries and it never, ever breaks. Ever. I don't specify which Landy (although the picture is a mk1) but the early ones have a rugged beauty that the modern ones don't).

Second, some Gallic flair - the beautiful and ingenious Citroen DS:

Unique in design, futuristic even at 50 years old, capable of driving on only three wheels, used by French Presidents. A car with character. And I want one. Badly.

Favourite car I?ve ever had was the 1979 Mercedes W123 I drove for a while.

Favourite ever? That?s a bit difficult. It?s like trying to choose your favourite song but for styling reason only: The original ?55 T-Bird, First generation Ford Mustang, Porsche 356 speedster, Alpha GT Junior.

Well the reason I stated 'for the guys' was the fact that women to the most part, are less likely to turn their head for a car, unless it is a red one.

Thankyou for your input, Georgia dear!

Cowboy anything is permitted during those youthful, innocent days, which are all too short.

David I have always loved the shape, and indeed the ride, of the citroen it was a landmark in car design, and still looks good enough for the 21st century.

Jeremy any way you like it. In your dreams, owned, or both.

AllforNun you're not slipping back into those nasty little habits are you, dirty little devil,.......... lucky bar stud!

For the past 22 years mine too has been the red one, and I still own her....

(Editd again because the picture fell off)

Sorry, I know this a thread for "fellas" and you all think I'm some wannabe bloke, but I really detest general girly stuff.

I LOVE football and I like cars. (I also paint my nails, wear high heels and have long hair, so hopefully that makes up for it)

Was nearly fickle enough to date a fella who drove one of these once.

Ab-so-lute-ly Jeremy!...I would have made it clear "No touching" on our first "Date" and then could say (after I dumped him) that I've been in one of them...

    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
    • Let’s not all get scared of the foxes now. Most likely explanation is protecting its den or association with food. We have foxes, and cats and they are no bother to each other. The fox will leave when the cats are out.
    • I remember seeing something a few years ago on TV about a fox that was actually biting through people's shopping / takeaway food bags.  It was situated in an alleyway.  Not in London.  Very interesting in how the  urban foxes brain development has  been affected by their surroundings.   Not an exact quote from Darwin.  It's the adaptable that survive / not the strongest or the most intelligent.   I would be worried if a fox came close me.   Because they might be after my fur babies and they carry a lot of nasties.   Although they look beautiful from a distance or on a 🎄 card.
    • Driving down Lordship lane around 2.45pm today saw a v sick looking fox walking in and out of the crowd.
