Taxi to gatwick

Can anyone send me a phone number for cheap taxi to Gatwick,early Sunday morning (6am ish). One person.

Or is it best to taxi to East Croyden, then train.

I think Addison Lee is quite expensive for going to airports. Try Airport Taxi : 02077014321. I booked a taxi to Heathrow for ?35 (Addison Lee quoted ?65). Hope this help.

greyhound cars on northcross road. ?40 and are usually pretty punctual. I use them 2-3 times a month for airport runs and they have always got me there in reasonable speed and comfort (although 2 have honked their horns at 4am which is totally unacceptable).

John from Underhill road is the best taxi driver ever! I used him to drive me to my wedding in the summer! such a nice guy!

Whatever you do don't use Panther cars, I have used them a few times due to lack of knowing any other mini cab firms in the area and they are such dangerous drivers! we once went to Balham with them in seccond gear the whole way!

Another vote for John from Underhill Rd, we always use him to take us to Heathrow, and pick us up on our return. Reliable and a really nice guy.

cab to forest hill then change at east croydon

Train is much better than taxi to gatwick but the service to east croydon (from peckham rye, honor oak or forest hill) doesn't start until about 7.30 on sundays. taxi to east croydon probably quickest and cheapest option.

south east cars off peckham rye. can't remember how much they were but seem to remember thinking it was pretty cheap at the time

Just arrived back from a short break involving flights to / from Gatwick. It was cheaper to drive there, park with a "meet & greet" parking agency (at ?40.00 for 4 days) than to get taxi there / back. The "greeter" meets you at entrance to departures and brings car back to exit from arrivals - so minimal hassle.
