I was walking round the hospital last night and heard a patient say:

"Wee sleekit cow'rin tim'rous beastie,

O what a panic's in thy breastie!

Thou need na start awa sae hasty,

wi' bickering brattle.

I wad be laith to run and chase thee,

wi' murdering prattle!"

'What's that?' I asked.

'The serious Burns unit,' said the doctor

You may well be but everytime I see your name I see uncleanglen. Ever since to told us you only bathe twice a year or something like that.

Mr Par King (brother of Wayne) stirred in his Ivory tower near the bridge of London to realise that the good people of ED had seen through his thinly veiled plans to introduce a CPZ via the back door of 'free one hour parking'

"Fiddlesticks" he said meaning to say something ruder.

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
