Just to let you know, I am organising a Scrabble Meet at the Clockhouse on Friday 4th May.

Just let me know if you want to join us as we will need to make sure we have enough boards etc.

OK so we are on for the 8th in the clock house. 8pm. we can agree rules etc then but I think we should start off nice and easy. I am very rusty. any OSW holders please bring them.

I'd be interested in coming but if there are 4 already I don't really want to be a "spare". I'd also be skiving off choir practice to go. Tell you what - I'll take my music to work and watch this space tomorrow. If it develops to more takers during the day, I'll skive off choir and come along, otherwise I'll leave the 4 of you to it this time!

Great. I thought it was good. for any lurkers or potential scrabblers out there, the inaugural EDF scrabble meeting was great. Mogs brought a truly excellent board and David Mc was a deserved winner. Some good challenging in evidence.

I used (sigh) to play on Yahoo Games - it's called literati on there - slightly diff board but exactly the same principles.

Timed games are quite addictive!
