Yo Wolfie

Is this the Rap what ya Papa sang to ya ?

Now everybody knows about the little pigs three

But this time it goes a little differently.

You see I made a couple changes. I set it all to rhyme.

Let?s begin our story,? Once Upon A Time...?

THREE LITTLE PIGS were living large and at home

Til the day mom said, ?Yo! I want to be alone!?

Go build your own houses now that you are big.

It?s time for each of you to be an independent pig.?

She told her little piggies, ?I think I?d better warn ya......"

The first little pig built a house made of straw.

He didn?t use a hammer and he didn?t use a saw.

He finished in a hurry and he laughed?,HA, HA!

I?m done! I?m done! Now I?ll go and have some fun!?

The second little pig built a house made of twigs......

The third little pig built a house made of bricks .......

Now the piggies all knew never talk to strangers.......

?HOWL! I?m the Big Bad Wolf and I?ve come to town.......

He walked up to the door of piggy number one.......

?Little pig, Little pig, let me come in.?

?Not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin?

?Then I?ll huff and I?ll puff and I?ll blow your house down.

I?m the Big Bad Wolf and I don?t mess around.?

So he blew down the straw house in one big breath.......

?Little pig, Little pig......"

So he blew down the twig house in one big breath.......

?Little pig, Little pig......"

But the strong brick house stayed right where it stood.......

Well, he went down the chimney but the piggies really got him.......

He jumped right out the chimney and ran so far away

That nobody?s seen that wolf to this very day.

And the little pigs were famous every where they went

But the third little pig still charged her brothers rent.

I told you she was smart. And now you know the story of

THE THREE LITTLE PIGS Oink! Oink! Oink! Bye Bye!

I thought BigBadWolf had been put down from the title of the thread!? I was looking forward to picking up some organic wolf steak on the weekend to chuck on the BBQ. However, it appears BBW has shaken off his handlers, leaped over the electric fencing at the Maudsley, has charged down Dog Kennel Hill and is once again prowling the virtual streets of the EDF!

Ohhhh Mikecg

Could that be counted as threatening behavior towards woofmarkthepuppy ? - If so want anyone to hold him down whilst you snip off his ....

...balls come in all shapes and sizes, including round (football, tennis) and spherical (Rugby, American Football and Australian rules football)

Really! Coming from someone who started up a thread in another name just so we could all talk about you is definitely a case of the pot calling the kettle black. It's just my response that's needled you hasn't it. Go and have a lie down.

Disgusting behaviour I know. Very little needles me Jah except when some old codger compares himself to the understudy of Keith Richards from time to time.

    • Sophie, I have to thank you for bringing me squarely into 2025.  I was aware of 4G/5G USB dongles for single computers, and of being able to use smartphones for tethering 4G/5G, but hadn't realised that the four mobile networks were now providing home hub/routers, effectively mimicking the cabled broadband suppliers.  I'd personally stick to calling the mobile networks 4G/5G rather than wifi, so as not to confuse them with the wifi that we use within home or from external wifi hotspots. 4G/5G is a whole diffferent, wide-area set of  networks, and uses its own distinct wavebands. So, when you're saying wi-fi, I assume you're actually referring to the wide-area networks, and that it's not a matter of just having poor connections within your home local area network, or a router which is deficient.   If any doubt, the best test will be with a computer connected directly to the router by cable; possibly  trying different locations as well. Which really leaves me with only one maybe useful thing to say.  :) The Which pages at https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/broadband/article/what-is-broadband/what-is-4g-broadband-aUWwk1O9J0cW look pretty useful and informative. They include local area quality of coverage maps for the four providers (including 5G user reports I think) , where they say (and I guess it too is pretty common knowledge): Our survey of the best and worst UK mobile networks found that the most common issues mobile customers have are constantly poor phone signal and continuous brief network dropouts – and in fact no network in our survey received a five star rating for network reliability.
    • 5G has a shorter range and is worse at penetrating obstacles between you and the cell tower, try logging into the router and knocking it back to 4G (LTE) You also need to establish if the problem is WiFi or cellular. Change the WiFi from 5GHz to 2.4GHz and you will get better WiFi coverage within your house If your WiFi is fine and moving to 4G doesn't help then you might be in a dead spot. There's lots of fibre deployed in East Dulwich
    • Weve used EE for the past 6 years. We're next to Peckham Rye. It's consistent and we've never had any outages or technical issues. We watch live streams for football and suffer no lags or buffering.   All the best.
