During an idle moment I found myself musing on a brochure or somesuch to be distributed to people as they arrived to make their homes in ED. It would be called something corny like So You've Decided To Live In East Dulwich, and would tell newcomers all they needed to know about this little corner of London.

If it was up to you, what would you put in it?

Hugenot - sensible and still mostly a list of the forum contents

I did used to have the idea of creating a site along those lines but this forum overtook it and I wouldn't want to tread on toes - but some kind of summary of forum consensus (with 2nd opinions) might be complimentary to the forum rather than in competition? I don't know.... the other ED sites don't really provide that kind of info at the moment I think

    • Threads that devolve like this should be moved to the Lounge, so the 'comedy' can continue in an appropriate vacuum.
    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
