I contacted 007 handyman on Thursday and today Victor Jr and a colleague came round and carried out a number of jobs for me: installing wall lights, a roller blind, picture ledges, coat hooks, cleared my gutters and did several other bitty jobs. They were early, polite, cleaned up after themselves and I highly recommend them.

007 came to install a garden lamp, assemble new garden furniture, and dispose of the old stuff. Everything was done really well, so pleased with their work and 'can do' attitude. I've used them before and no doubt will again.

Thanks Vic and Carl.

I would like to highly recommend Vic and Carl.

Vic and his son Carl have just finished a few jobs for me: they fixed some rotten decking and I then asked them back to jet wash and re-oil the whole decking. Great job!

Yesterday they came to put together a trampoline with a safety net which I had just bought for my daughter. The instructions said that it would take two people, two hours. They put it together for me in less than 1 hour! Very friendly and efficient team. Most importantly, my daughter is very happy indeed!

Highly recommended.

Another recommendation for 007 handyman services and the lovely Vic. Really pleased with the sturdy bin shed with space for green roof I've just had built, as well as some solid raised beds and bits of garden maintenance. Smashing work done with minimum fuss and looks as though will last years.

    • Sorry for dragging this back on topic, but earlier I had a discussion with Luca the site manager who was also singing the praises of the 'new' waste management team. He invited me on to the ground to the east of the 'parkrun start' path to check out how well they'd done. Within 20 paces I'd picked up (and given to him) 2 cellophane filter tip wrappers, 3 fag butts, assorted scraps of plastic wrappers....! He awkwardly then said they were still onsite, and sent 1 guy out to litter pick. He also made the statement that it's "an impossible task". I will be over there tomorrow to find, collect and document all the remaining litter, to assist with next year's consultation. I think it's important to pass on that type of information?
    • Hi My friend who’s a local tree surgeon unfortunately had his small Stihl petrol chainsaw stolen last week. As a tree surgeon, this is pretty gutting.    I wondered whether anyone on here might have a spare secondhand one that they don’t use anymore. Or perhaps one that’s been left in a shed or garage gathering dust that isn’t needed. Joe would be delighted and very grateful if we could magic him a replacement soon! 🤩 Thanks so much!  Claire (07946) 728879
    • Thanks to Coe and Lard  for playing this, hadn't heard it for so so long,  This is a poor recording, but predates the punk explosion  of the late 70s, so ahead of the game....
    • I don't eat meat but if I had an air rifle the various vermin would be very afraid.  I've trapped squirrels in the loft, I wont go any further on that one. The Horniman Nature Reserve rats will take on any of yours, apart from.... Cox's walk which takes on another level.  During Covid it felt like you were in Hamelin.
