Strawbs
I have a friend from oz that is moving to the UK arriving 5th May. She is going to be staying with me for a week but then has a friend of hers joining her and will need some short term accom i.e. a few weeks to a month at minimum two would be perfect. I have a feeling they will love the area so will be looking for longer term accom but will be working by then so will be able to sign a lease etc.I hear there are rooms at the upland for about 40 quid a night, has anyone stayed there and are they ok? thanksxx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5749-anyone-stayed-at-the-uplands/ Share on other sites
Tony.London Suburbs
Is she fit Strawbs, as I can do discount rates for Forumites at only ?39.50 per night, which includes Egg and Cress Sandwiches the following morning, which, sadly, are compulsory.Would she be interested? charliecharlie
yes... one of our clients used to come over and stay for blocks of two or three night, and always said it was ideal (clean but basic) and the breakfasts were good. There was one very nice room that had it own en suit bathroom and the others I thing shared one on the landing...xxcc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5749-anyone-stayed-at-the-uplands/#findComment-184660 Share on other sites

Moos
Strawbs, my sister-in-law and her boyfriend stayed there once when we had a house-guest overflow, and they were perfectly happy with it. Cost us ?50/night, I think. Shared bathroom and very basic, but clean and the people are nice.
