I have just received a card through my door about this business that will deliver food from local restaurants (that don't have a delivery service of their own). Has anyone tried it yet? Thinking of giving it a go tonight.

I use Deliveroo at work in the evenings - works really well. Exciting if they're making all the way to SE22.

We've used it, and it was good. But sadly they don't seem to deliver some of those restaurants to far flung SE22 0! It's Deliverance all over again.

The restaurant list for my postcode is limited for now but I think the more people that use it and the more popular it is, the bigger the restaurant pool it will develop. Fingers crossed. I really want a few things from Brixton Market delivered.

Sea Cow delivered to our door in 20 mins flat (order placed tonight-Friday-just after 7)- fantastic! Will definitely use again.

Used them on Thursday evening for Ganapati delivery fabulous and you can book a delivery time in advance. Will definitely use them again when we want a take a way!

Yes Ganapati does deliver BUT I was able to prebook and set a later delivery time, much more satisfactory - particularly as a previous experience with Gana wasn't so successful!

Gowlett Pizzas delivered? Talk about a game changer if you could drake that happen consistently. The best test? Try ordering a Gowlett Pizza through them at 7.30pm on a Saturday night.

They are slowly expanding by the looks of it. I'm sure they will get to lots of postcodes in the end. They are honest with their timings on the site. Last night at 8pm a Gowlett Pizza was going to take an hour to deliver. We went with a half hour Dominos instead. Wish we hadn't.

There was a gaggle of Deliveroo delivery riders sitting outside the closed cafe next to the Palmeston, a couple sitting astride their scooters at the end of Shawbury rd and one on the tarmac outside Farmers - like the heady old days of dispatch riders waiting for 'the call' - they must be expecting a busy night - doesn't look much fun for them though.

I had no idea they were down in our neck of the woods and delighted we can get Mama Lan dumplings and Honest Burgers!!

I've used them when I work late and they have always been brilliant.

GAME CHANGER.

Gowlett test this evening. Placed order for 2 pizzas on their simple, super quick website at 7.27pm?wait time showed as 45 minutes?.but food arrived in 32 minutes nice and hot.

This could be seriously dangerous.

We tried Kitchen 54 using Deliveroo for the first time and the food was delivered hot and right on schedule. Love being able to get hot chicken wings delivered to our door.
