bigbadwolf
Right, seeing as the 'where did you go to school' thread has been resurected I thought it appropriate to start this. Mine were:The passenger door of the P.E bus opened when Mr Brady was doing about 30mph on Catford broadway and Mr Feakin fell out because he wasn't wearing his seatbelt.Mr Beaven took a royal 'drop' whilst adjusting the blinds. We wet ourselves but the cherry on the cake was the next day we had to fill out work place injury forms and he lost his case. This happened outside school. We had an alcoholic maths teacher called Mr Maylor and after I'd left I was indulging in a bit of underage drinking in the bird in hand on Dartmouth rd and saw him feeling up some old bag lady, what a joker. woofmarkthedog
Antony Panel (a genuine and now incarcerated hard nut) sat between two Bunsen burner out-lets, pulls off the pipes and lights the gas, well flames about a yard & half long roared either side of him at 45 degrees, the chemistry teacher went mental but couldn't get near him to turn them offPoor Mr (I've just had a throat operation)Thomas...." sorry sir can you repeat that again I can't hear very well"A great memory, needless to say not much learnt in his classesW**F Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5788-funniest-school-memory/#findComment-186108 Share on other sites

Shu.Kurimu.Sensei
BBW, Mr Maylor fell into alcoholism after being very badly beaten by the year before me, and was never the same afterwards.Funniest/shock moment, some kid on acid jumping from the flats opposite the school - funny, turned to shock on seeing his head had become catfood. Mikecg
My funniest memory of school was smashing up the violins and classical guitars in the music practise room after performing Purple Haze during the school concert Rock N roll dude, those piano toffs were a right bunch of snobs. I was a right bastard when I think about it. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5788-funniest-school-memory/#findComment-186122 Share on other sites
Shu.Kurimu.Sensei
Well, one of my best mates jumped from the bridge at Forest Hill, and pretty much everybody from the year turned out to his funeral as he was a very nice bloke and its thought that being bullied because he was short, and a red head were contributing factors. There were a ton of druggies/scum at that school, and the catfood brain kid wouldn't have been missed by anyone apart from his dealer, as he stole from and threatened his folks on many an occasion. The school convent got burnt down, the science labs set alight with all the animals in them, it really was oftenchaos, some teachers got arrested for making porn films with the students, half the customers from the local bookies were kids from my year.. charliecharlie
...it started out so well, but then all when horribly wrong... I thought it would be such a wheeze to get in the Geography teachers car (which he never locked) and drive it down the hill so it would be in a different place when he came out of classes.Thing is... I was 13 and had never driven anything before, let alone a car...I took the hand-brake off and off I went, everyone standing by... next minute I found myself gathering speed down this steep hill, I had no idea what the fcuk I was doing, I panicked, lost control and with an almighty bang crashed the car into a ditch... everyone was absolutely pissing themselves laughing but, oh dear.... three stitches later, and one seriously, heavy ticking off from the head teacher, charliecharlie finds herself chucked out of yet another school...funny how things can seem such a good idea at the time....http://hcl.harvard.edu/hfa/images/films/2005summer/treasure_belles_of_st_trinians.jpg Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5788-funniest-school-memory/#findComment-186140 Share on other sites

JetSetWilly
in my old secondary school anyone who turned up late, had to spend the morning break in a kind of mini detention. i was sitting down the back with my mate moggie and looked round and moggie had his duffle coat hanging over the front of his desk and was quite happily bashing away at the bishop, apparantly it was a regular occurance. Tony.London Suburbs
Our Year had the ignominy of being the first where The Sixth Form of The School was no longer simply divided into "Upper" and "Lower" as they introduced "The 6th Form Generals" so the whole of the year turned up on the first day of the new term with one hand hidden inside their shirt a la General Napoleon Bonaparte.
