bigbadwolf
Lads, deep down we are esentially still little boys. We have that primal instinct to play with toys. What toys do you own that you still like to fiddle about/annoy people with. I play with:Myself.Remote controlled helicopter.Air rifle.Scalectrix.Crossbow.I chase wasps about with a small chainsaw I stole from a company I used to work for.Firework occasionally.Computer games don't count Sean and Mockney.Over to you. HonaloochieB
A Johnny Seven. Never had one as a kid.I used to go to the toy shop in Waterloo station, and it was there displayed in the main window. At four pounds nineteen and sixpence though it was out of the question. We weren't poor exactly but my folks didn't have four pounds nineteen and sixpence-worth of expendable income to invest in leisure/play hardware. And of course expendable income and leisure/play hardware hadn't yet been invented. And of course 'investing' wasn't for the likes of us.Knew our place we did.Waterloo Road it was. gugs69
Along a similar line to HonaloochieB's earlier post, we couldn't afford very many cool things when I was a kid, so I'm doing my best to make up for it now. :)So far I've spoiled myself with:A remote control helicopterAn air gun (although pathetically weak)And - my personal favourite - I'm building up a pretty good collection of Superman comics. The younger version of me would be so jealous...
