It is at 3am... I think they're allowed to charge to stay open that late.

Hamlets Bar normally show the fight nights.

It should be a cracker (although I doubt I'll be there as few of my mates are into boxing).

Still can't believe that no channel showed the Froch fight live, that was a real belter... it was just like Rocky!

Just checked with EDT and its a no go (don't have the late licence).

However the ole dog that is The Hamlets have confirmed that they're showing it for a ?10 cover charge that will include a few wee somethings thrown in.

The DHFC website does not mention boxing coverage.

Is there a seperate entity which deals with use oftheir entertainment facilities ie. the hall where I guess they'd show the Hatton/Pacman fight ?

Has anyone actually got tickets or knows what the deal is ? ie. Sports cafe in Haymarket often says you have to be in the venue by midnight so they can cream you for 3-4 hours of beer/food before the actual contest starts.

Any advice appreciated.

Just to say that the Hamlets was an excellent venue for the boxing. A tenner to get in mind but bar was open all the way through and was still going strong when I stumbled out at 0630.

Also the Gentleman's evening was a surprise bonus....
