This is an appeal to reinstate Louisa.

Louisa Date Registered: 26/02/2007 3,493 posts..

Louisa has been here for over 8 years..

I do not know the details of the offensive post that got Louisa 'banned' / banished to the Lounge.

I think she has served her sentence and would like to ask the moderators to reconsider their decision to ban her.

She has over the years added value to the forum and is witty, funny with posts that some have misinterpreted..

There are others here whose posts are of a more personal and insulting nature than Louisa's posts.

I urge others here to also give our Lou. another chance.

Try repeating the same old meaningless rubbish on every thread ad nauseam, regardless of topic. And also start a few new threads specifically for this purpose.

Well, that certainly helps your case.

Ok - fair enough.

Oh.

I can't see it stopping. Only today news comes in to me that is ripe material for a Louisa/Fox gentrification bore-off thread. They won't be able to resist more gastorification debate (clue btw) of a well worn locals haunt that neither of them have actually been into for years....

    • Second time Aria has completed a plumbing job for me and both times he’s been polite. Communicative, kept to time and completed the job. He’s very helpful and tidy as well. First job was ball valve in water tank, not easy at all. He and his team were fantastic. This time kitchen tap cylinders replaced and tap tightened.  Much appreciated, Aria thank you.
    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
