Ski Slope almost, it's I Wish by Skee Lo, and I agree it is truly horrid.

"Shine" by Take That.

I am sure that it would have fallen under the radar along with the rest of Take That's output if it wasnt sung by the shortarsed chap with the nasely whine for a voice. The extended "let it shiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeee..." grates so much, particularly now that it is part of some awful advertising campaign.

Rant on.

A few more atrocities:

'Saturday Night' by Whigfield

Anything by Ace Of Base/Paul Young/Mariah Carey

'If I Ruled The World' from those bloody awful Vodafone adverts which make me want to smash my own tellybox

'I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston

Any version of 'You Raise Me Up' or 'Wind Beneath My Wings'

A bit of a typo there JB. It should obviously be;

I will always love you by Shitney Poostain

    • Would this not be a complaint better aimed at the council? Isn't it an anti social behaviour issue?  I think of myself as pretty live-and-let-live and feel like a miserable cow for saying this, but I do think I might complain. Personally I love the sound of fireworks but our dog is under the table, shaking like a leaf night after night and collapses in the street when he hears the noise.  I'm worried his heart'll give out.
    • The lower / no bang noise fireworks sound great.    Is there anywhere local selling those?
    • This petition to reduce the noise of fireworks is currently going through Parliament https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/738192
    • Have you complained to the solicitor directly and did they respond within the 8 weeks they have under their code of conduct - I presume they have and this is why you have escalated further to the SRA? If he doesn't respond in a timely fashion per the SRA code of conduct then I am sure they will need to take action.
