I got one of these today and to my amazement there was actually enough space for me to sit in one of the seats upstairs without my legs being squashed up against the seat in from of me. Could it be that some designer somewhere has come to the realisation that there are actually a large number of people out there who are taller than 5?9??

Anyway the 40 stops behind my house and buggers up my TV reception so a pox on it and all who travel in it.

And how pleasantly soft and cushy the seats are for the boney of arse of this world. It was like sitting on a 2 tiered Victoria sponge but without all the usual liberal guilt you get from using cake as a cushion while people in Slough are forced to eat salt laden sandwiches from Tesco.

Nope not just you Anna. They were especially tricky when wearing nice smooth, shiny suit trousers. It was an interesting way to get to know other commuters a bit better.

That depends, were you on the fucking bus last night when it stopped outside my window for ten minutes, disrupting the channel 4+1 signal and consequently my dinnertime episode of the Simpsons? Non-slip, bum-friendly seats are all well and good but a man can only take so much of Marge?s blue, bouffant crackling and pixilating to an electronic staccato after a hard day at work.

I was. I was struck by the sight of a half-naked man dunking handfuls of Wotsits into a tin of beans, whilst swearing at a flickering blue screen. I haven't seen the like since I last visited the IT department to ask for a new mouse battery.

    • But we’re not in Canada so why celebrate their recent election? Wasn’t their winner our Bank of England director up until his defection to his homeland of Canada? He caused chaos  in this country with his put down of everything British and his many dismal words about the effects of Brexit on this country.
    • I expect that they consider it should be a free choice what to do with your waste, and that segregating it is a waste of money, no doubt it's all a woke conspiracy.  I expect that others are more up to speed with Reform policies. I should have asked Nigel when I was drinking with him.  Well within the vicinity of him in Westminster pubs a couple of times.
    • Let's see how a Leader and party that thrive on division and demonising elements of our society actually do when they have to deliver. Let's hope that the two main parties don't consider that the best way to fight Reform is to become like then. Even less reason to visit the small town where I grew up.  Not a cause for any joy or celebration. Happy to celebrate the Canadian result.
    • The Reform Party has surely taken the Conservatives and Labour by surprise? I’ve been a Conservative voter since the age of 18 and voted for them in the General Election last Summer. Sadly Labour were elected but their policies on so many issues have been their downfall as they did not stick to them.
