The one with kind of blonde/light hair, there on the weekend.I think I might stalk him from afar because theres only so many reasons I can think of to go into a running shop before really having too much kit!I think he's gorgeous! charliecharlie
shy doesn't mean 'need to resort to stalking'just go in, ask advice about some kit, get chatting and hey presto! an opportunity to slip into the conversation... "by the way... my name's 'wanno'" (or what ever it is)... "what's yours?"not that hard really... go on... I dare you! give it a try and let us know how you get on...xxcc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6251-up-running-guy/#findComment-200734 Share on other sites

Tony.London Suburbs
Wanno: You see a Man you want to meetA/ You keep looking at him. You wait for him to look at you. When he looks your way, smile warmly and wave to him. This gives him the space and the safety that he needs. If he smiles and walks over to you, go ahead and greet him and start a conversation. If he doesn't, then you can turn your attention elsewhere.Alternatively you can sidle up behind him and gyrate against his backside.Your choice.p.s. I would prefer "B" as we both know exactly where we stand...>:D< Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6251-up-running-guy/#findComment-200818 Share on other sites

"Smile warmly and wave to him" would have the desired effect of getting him to come over... but it doesn't allow me to differentiate between him chatting me up, or him trying to sell me swanky trainers. Gyrating may just get me removed from the shop, but it would be fun! Andystar
I empathise with you, except i've got about 20 crushes at the mo ( well 2 serious ones) :-$I say go for it...Just be yourself & get chatting, ask for advice on the best places to run, find out where he runs etc...I met my ex-gf ( now my best buddy) a few years ago, when I was working in a store, she kept on coming back & asking questions, it was funny watching her trying to think of another question to ask me. She told me, later, that she thought that I was totally hot & got completely flustered- which is very unlike her. It got to the point where I just asked for her number & the rest is history...one of the best things that i've ever done.
