You should be okay Mike, there are a fair few people going from what I can tell, and it'll be nice to see some new faces..... :)-D

I'm still hoping to make it down at some stage, but really don't know what I'm doing now, as I'm finding walking very painful right now, and my whole weekend looks dubious! :'(

Glad to hear a few people are going, should be a laugh - I hope there will be some dancing going on, I havent been out for a month apart from down the Dog but day time doesnt count. Maybe we could have Forum Night disco dancing championships, i can cut a few moves ill tell you that now.

    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
    • This is a bit outside our area, but I'm posting in case .... Last night (Sat.20 Dec), around 10.30, we saw a cat hit by a car in St Norbert Road, SE4.  We took him to the out of hours vet in Beckenham, where they confirmed that he had died.  They will see if he is microchipped, and contact the owner if so.  They were very kind.   He was a lovely cat, grey and white.  He must have died very quickly.  So sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞 The vet is Medivet in Beckenham, tel: 0208 650 2003.
