Mobile telephone reception

Is anyone else suffering from the problem of little or no Vodafone mobile reception in East Dulwich this week?

Hi I have reception but it has been very bad for a few weeks now, cuts out or people can not hear me

No problems at all with Vod.

Bad EE reception. Had to ask them for a signal box. They hand them out free for contract customers.

It's been particularly bad since the series of small power cuts/surges a little while ago. Very intermittent this mornig *sighs*

You shouldn't have to get a signal box unless you're in a known dark spot. Signals are generally quite good...

Vodafone signal seems weaker than usual at the top end of Lordship Lane by the Grove. It appears to have been intermittent over the last few weeks.

The nearest Vodafone base station is on Dulwich Common, opposite Rosebery Gate. The other networks have base stations nearer the Grove, or in O2's case on the junction of Underhill Road.

Has anyone reported the issue to the phone companies in question as they may well have a bad mast that needs repairing but unaware of the issue?

Yes I have but perhaps others should too. It may make a difference if all those having problems do this via the Vodafone web site.

I thought the signal boxes were for boosting 3g signal. Most are on 4g now.

Vodaphone is rubbish in some parts of our house & we usually end up having to go the kitchen & out into the back garden decent reception.

I am with three, the 4G is always excellent in East Dulwich.

according to Vodafone's signal checker thing there aren't any "reported" problems... I don't even see where one can report it either :-s
