New deli in Bellenden Rd, Peckham sells fairtrade shoppers for ?1.50. Similar to Sainsbury's 'hessian' bags but without the advertising.

I think I'm having my leg pulled.

A friend has told me that 10,000 polythene bags have a smaller carbon footprint than one cloth bag.

Can someone point me in the direction of accurate information?
