I have lots of PMs from Mikecg to remember him by - I read them from time to time, for old times sake, to remind myself what a cunt I am. He told me so many times I began to believe it. Oh and Dulwich Mum seems to be one too - she posted his PMs just so they were no longer private.

He seemed to improve and then mysteriously disappeared. Of course he may be no longer with us.

What can I say?.

This actually

Well firstly MicMac I never PM'd you more than once giving you abuse and at the time I was infuriated by what was said in a specific thread, this has been a problem of mine all my life. I cant help but rise to the bait (There's no smoke without fire). I can be overly sensitive at times and when me blood boils I usually rant and go for the throat, I think you should send me every so called PM I sent you so that I can understand what your going on about. OH it was only once and I seem to remember apologising to you. I recon that this will be my last ever post on here because as soon as I hit post message my ISP will be blocked, well maybe. I know I should avoid certain posts/posters and I have in the past but there comes a time when you have to take account and say how it is.

Yes I'm a Leary fecker and if I was, well I was probably provoked by something inflammatory or maybe not. as I've said before it's sometimes hard to get your point across in the printed word, a bit like the boy who cried wolf.

Someone who says to another forum user, get "a terminal desease[sic] and rot and die then I can piss on your grave" is not welcome on this forum. Mikecg asked for his account to be deactivated, had he not he would have been banned anyway for that comment. I do not want him on here.

Mike - you sent me 4 PMs, the one that annoyed me was:

"F*ck you you platic paddy C*nt............."

I don't mind being called a c*nt but I'm not a Plastic Paddy - I'm Irish born and bred. I drew attention to your horrible poem about the Munich Air Disaster and I stand by what I said. But yes you did apologise later, credit to you for that.

Yes you did overreact from time to time - I thought you got much better recently - but agree with Admin if you wish someone dead thats not good.

Could well be, could well be - ashamed to say I saw it in a recent repeat of Sharpe on a digital channel and just liked it.

Mikecg lurked around plenty after he swanned off in a playing-the-victim princessy hissy fit, waiting all the while for us to beg for him to come back (clicking on his name showed last activity and he was on here regularly days after his flounce).

He acted like a cock. Then he didn't. But seemingly actually still did in PMs - I've got to go with Admin on this one. "Boy who cried wolf" my arse. The boy who cried wolf didn't threaten tombside micturition.

    • This week's edition of The Briefing Room I found really useful and impressively informative on the training aspect.  David Aaronovitch has come a long way since his University Challenge day. 😉  It's available to hear online or download as mp3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002n7wv In a few days time resident doctors -who used to be known as junior doctors - were meant to be going on strike. This would be the 14th strike by the doctors’ union since March 2023. The ostensible reason was pay but now the dispute may be over without more increases to salary levels. The Government has instead made an offer to do something about the other big issue for early career doctors - working conditions and specialist training places. David Aaronovitch and guests discuss what's going on and ask what the problem is with the way we in Britain train our doctors? Guests: Hugh Pym, BBC Health Editor Sir Andrew Goddard, Consultant Gastroenterologist Professor Martin McKee, Professor of European Public Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Mark Dayan, Policy Analyst, Nuffield Trust. Presenter: David Aaronovitch Producers: Caroline Bayley, Kirsteen Knight, Cordelia Hemming Production Co-ordinator: Maria Ogundele Sound Engineers: Michael Regaard, Gareth Jones Editor: Richard Vadon
    • That was one that the BBC seem to have lost track of.  But they do still have quite a few. These are some in their 60s archive. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0028zp6
