Sorry to start a whole new thread but I don't want this message to get lost because there were some forumites posting a few weeks ago to say they really wanted to see Eddie doing a tiny gig. He's doing one next week at the Comedy Store - tickets only ?15. Still on sale now, hasn't sold out, but will go quick.

I too saw him at the EDT many years ago. Stephen Frost introduced him and he did a pre-Edinburgh run-through, which is when he hit the big time.

Guys, it's STILL on sale and the reason for that is that nobody knows about it. Once someone sends an email out to say it's on sale it will be gone straight away. So if you are dithering about whether to go or not then just dither quickly and get on with it - what's not to like - Eddie Izzard for ?15. What more do you want? Cake?

It was the early 90s Mike. Could have been the same night or maybe earlier. Steve Frost was there but if I remember correctly Jo Brand was the support or she introduced him. Bit of blur.

I saw him in EDT, about '94ish. Wasn't that good actually. On the other end of the scale, I saw him at Wemblet arena in 2003, and that wasn't particularly great either. He peaked with "dress to kill", far and away his best show!

Must have been there the same night at the EDT Keef. I can't understand why anyone would want to go and see a comedian in an arena show.
