No it ain't just in your head spoony - my Mrs is totally fed up with it - don't know where it's coming from, though. We live at the junction of Landcroft and Pellatt, and it sounds to be within a few hundred yards. Perhaps if I can muster the strength I might venture out to investigate (once the pubs are open that is)

Careful Bony, the sound is hard to trace. One second its in front of you the next it's to the left and then behind you. It's like someone is driving around with a loud bangy thing attached to the back of their car. Maybe if we could organise a team to come at it from different directions, banging load things. Then it'll know what it feels like. Or at least it might get scared and stop.

Nothing to do with Alleyn's, you mad, gullible fools!!!! It is me driving around with my Loud Bangy Thingy!!!! Bwah-ha-ha! Soon you will all learn the meaning of insanity (unless I get a puncture which would f**k things up slightly and temporarily delay my plans to take over the world!)

Ha ha. Can I have a go on your loud bangy thing when you are finished? maybe then i wont notice the noise so much.......

Its driving me mad too. maybe they'll take tomorrow off we can only hope.

It was a windy day today which i think is why it travelled around so much. even my kids are moaning about it. it sometimes sounds a bit like a helicopter and I think i'm in goodfellas.

    • Warning to parents using the playground in Dulwich Park. My daughter and her friends found a bag of ‘crunchy powder’ in the children’s playground this morning around 11ish. They thought it was ‘popping candy’ and all tried some before seen with it. Request to parents using the playground - if you see plastics bags with suspect looking contents or powder on the floor in the playground or park: pick it up and throw it in the bin. Don’t walk past and think someone else will deal with it. The next person to walk by might be a child who could pick it up not understanding what it could be. Hopefully our daughter and her friends will be ok and it’s a lucky escape. But please be aware in case anyone else’s child may have found it before them.
    • I’m looking for some ply sheets, ideally 9mm or 12mm. It doesn’t have to look good. As long as it’s not rotten it’ll be fine. I’d like bigger sheets, but I’m open to whatever anyone’s got. If you can help, drop me a DM.  Cheers
    • the only known name is from that poster in the window where it says to email [email protected]. I thought that website might shed some light on who is creating the posters I hope whoever was attacked is doing ok, but agree there is something very off/vigilante-ish about all of this
    • Sorry to be dim, but where has that link come from and why is it relevant to this thread? I'm not doubting you, just wondering if I've missed something above!
