Thundering Stupidity

Recommended Posts

Or be me standing under umbrella holding a metal rod in the air whilst trying quite pathetically to unblock a drain fighting against chunks of ice, wind... with me rolled up trousers and sleeves.

Now have given up and sporting an attractive pair of muddy legs, a soaking back and a red over worked face... roll on 8pm when I can go home!

Natural selection PGC, natural selection. The world has too many people anyway so the inability to make a simple deduction of causality or at least have some grasp of widely known colloquial wisdom are as good a grounds as any to determine those we can do without.

We used to go to Brockwell lido after school for a swim when it rained and it was a bonus if there was a thunder storm.

    • Hey everyone, Just a quick heads up for those who might not be aware: there's a new law in England that took effect in April. Essentially, if you're involved in any building or planning projects, you now need to meet certain biodiversity quotas.  I stumbled upon this handy assessment tool that can determine whether you're exempt or need to meet the requirements. Hopefully, it eases your worries too! Check it out here: https://www.joesblooms.com/bng-tool

    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
