Summer weather?

The rain is falling so hard now on the Upper East Side that the car alarms are going off.

It is very summery actually. It?s not raining at all in town. We don?t get localised storms like of this in the winter months.

Ah, a little beyond Barry Rd, upon the hill that used to be known as Adon Mount but which now appears to have no name. Barry Rd is a little, ahem, low rent.

The hill was Adon Mount. Now Adon Mount seems to be confined to old OS maps.

Apparently, according to the met office, summer is based over three months - June, July and August. June was, again according to the met office, an exceptionally good month and whilst July was/is a was out we still have August to look forward to.

Not quite sure what that means but I guess it's not quite time to retire the paddling pool to the shed or to hang up those skimpy summer clothing replacing with thermals just yet.

If your route home takes you down CP Road can offer you my favourite movie 'Cinema Paradiso'. It's the directors cut and lasts 3 hours and it's in Italian with sub titles. Might not be your thing.Great movie though if you want to laugh and cry!
