Thanks folks for all the messages of support, the last few weeks have been difficult & it has been a real boost to know that, even with this veil of annonimity, human warmth still shines through.

I wonder if I pass any of you in the street.......?

Blimey.

Not sure what to say really aura, but there's a whole lot of warmth of humanity emenating from your posts. Hats off, so glad you tied the knot and I hope to have a smile and a nod as we pass in the street without knowing why, just feeling better for it.

In my Will I hand my outstanding gambling winnings to Quids. They should be worth a small fortune. I'll leave my Betfair password in my will.

PS: I have some small spreadbetting exposure with Sporting Index which I also attribute to Quids...good luck.

Aura, I always admire the absolute simple bare honesty of you posts.

It's hard, as Mockney said, to know what else to say except that I wish you and your partner happiness.

Good decision Chair to bring this out to the lounge for more people to see.

Have just realised that the thread has taken a more serious turn - My best wishes are with you Aura.

    • I can't, but I'm sure ChatGPT could, if you ask it! With Windows 11, you can share documents, eg with work colleagues, via a setting. Probably it's the same with iPads etc and the solicitor has accidentally or deliberately shared it with your friend? I'm sure the solicitor can explain it if asked. Hopefully it wasn't an accident!
    • Yes of course a lot of it is total bollocks. And of course the House of Lords is ridiculous. But the class system etc isn't because we have a "royal family", is it?
    • Can't remember where I got them, online somewhere recommended by my daughter, but they are cloth and brightly coloured and fit quite tightly around my nose and mouth. I've still got a stock of them. Tissues inside might help a bit,  but if you have a very runny nose you basically need to keep removing the mask to blow it. Luckily I have only had to go out once when I've had  a bad cold. Sorry, probably too much information.
