You won't have heard of this guy yet, but you will. I don't often spot a hit before it's released, but this one is going to be big.

You might have already heard it on a BBC iplayer ad. There's an acoustic guitar version too.

Now now Woof, don't be so judgemental.

I personally thought it was a rather pleasant, upbeat and refreshingly catchy score from a slighty bohemian young man. I did notice however that the young musician is called 'Wouter'. I thought it prudent to do a little bit of background checking after I registered the fact that 'Wouter/Walter' maybe an arsehole.

It turns out I was correct.....he is an arsehole.

Wouter, the lead singer is in fact Dutch but that doesn't excuse him from the fact that his most successful release is called 'Breezy' that consists of the usual 'had a really funky night out, why not have a Jam to see the morning off'.

After viewing this, I could easily picture myself pushing drawing pins into his gums.

OKAY

I gave ol' Wouter w@nk clog chops a second look.

Some points to note.

1. I apologies to Matt Bianco, you are far far better

2. The girl with the hundred volt hair-do , Aimee Whitehouse's cousin ?

3. 'had a really funky night out ( at church of Scientology), why not have a Jam to see the morning off'.

4. Pins & razors are too good

5. Have a nice day

OHhh I'm so gruuuumpy today! though Mrs W**F returns later so she should sooooooooooothe me down.

Grrrr

W**F

* if anything that bacon sandwich has made me angrier...*

I should probably qualify my OP. If this song were a share, I would buy it now. But I'd be planning to sell it in about two months time. It has the catchy get-under-the-skin qualities to make it a one-hit wonder, but the lyrics too repetitive to make it a long term classic. And using the word 'crazy' twice suggests he has a limited English vocabulary.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
